HuddleCamHD Adds New HC

HuddleCamHD just debuted a controller for its PTZ lineup, dubbed the HC-JOY-G4 joystick controller. Using serial PTZ control, the HC-JOY-G4 is designed to deliver workflow across a wide range of working environments and demands. Designed like the PTZOptics Superjoy, the HuddleCamHD HC-JOY-G4 features an ergonomic design and seven camera quick-select buttons for fast switching between sources, with an on-screen display for access to settings and functions. The HC-JOY-G4's precision three-axis joystick gives "control over each camera's functions and a selection of user modes, including Basic, Basic PTZ, Matrix and more."

HuddleCamHD HC-JOY-G4 is compatible with a "wide range of serial production environments and control protocols, easily integrating into any workflow or becoming a new control center." The company claims its tactile, rubberized controls and pressure-sensitive multifunctional encoders give "real-time access to essential functions, including pan, tilt, and zoom, as well as focus and transitions between presets for a truly professional production." Iris, shutter speed and gain settings enable you to dial in your lighting and exposure, and red and blue gain controls help refine your color balance.
